Erkers1879, a luxury brand of handcrafted eyewear, is thrilled to announce the addition of two titanium eyeglass models with a range of timeless color options, the first titanium products released from the heritage brand since their inception 144 years ago.

The two models, Castle Point and Lakeshire were both designed with biodegradable cellulose acetate fronts and slim titanium temples with a subtle cross-hatch design adorning the exterior. Both eyeglass models come in four colors true to the traditional subdued-modern palette of the brand. The year of their inception can be found lightly etched on the left temple tip of each frame, in addition to the letter “V” on the right to signify the Roman Numeral V collection. Honoring their rich history in St. Louis, Mo, both eyeglass models are named after areas throughout the city.

Castle Point features a round shape with soft edges, making for a sleek but sturdy design. The lightweight feel paired with a saddle bridge ensures ultimate comfort when wearing this frame. Its classic colors, Navy, Smoke, Purple Fade, and Tort, balance the modern titanium temples for a timeless look that will never go out of style.

Lakeshire

Lakeshire, designed with a traditional rectangular shape, is free of frills for a look of sophistication and class. This masculine frame comes in two classic colors from the brand, Crystal and Brown Fade, as well as two brand new color blends, Graphite and Shiny Fern. Like Castle Point, Lakeshire features soft edges and a saddle bridge.
