Successful End in 2015, See WOF again in 2016
The 13th Wenzhou Int'l Optics Fair, China (WOF for short) was held successfully in Wenzhou Int'l Convention & Exhibition Center on 10-12 May, 2015. With 20000 square meters exhibition areas, more than 300 enterprises, from major glasses production bases like Shenzhen, Xiamen, Taizhou, Danyang, local Wenzhou and etc, displayed the most advanced optical products and techniques for the honorable guests and visitors both from domestic and abroad. WOF 2015 achieved good results not only in purchasing and contract amount but also the number of visitors. During three-day's exhibition, 13330 professional buyers visited the fair which is 14% increase compared with last session. Among which, 816 oversea visitors appeared in the fair and most of them found the products they want.
At the opening ceremony of 13th WOF on the morning of 10 May, Jimmy Wu (The president of Wenzhou Optical Association) welcomed the presence of all the leaders and guests and made the target of "to create optics capital of the world". Wenzhou, as known as the China Glasses Production Base, is famous for its optical products with high quality and low price and foreign trade. And its products covered nearly complete optical products, ranging from sunglasses and sports spectacles, lens & optical blanks, spectacle frames, optical packaging, glasses spare parts, raw and auxiliary materials, tools, manufacturing equipments, optometry instruments, contact lens & care products, optical plating euipments & materials, retail and shop design, display equipment and technology, chain glasses enterprises, etc.
On the afternoon of 10 May, the 4th China (Wenzhou) Optical Industry Summit was held in Wenzhou Onehome Hotel. Nearly 200 elites and young entrepreneurs from optical industry gathered here and discussed the hot topics, which can provide precious suggestion and experience for the future innovation and development.
As the traditional activity in WOF, Factory Tour to Wenzhou Local Optical Enterprises was arranged on 11 May to visit Lidong Optics Manufacture Co,, Ltd., Wenzhou Glasses & Accessory Market and Wenzhou Loverdoor Industrial Development Co., Ltd. About 40 professional buyers from Korea, US, Turkey, Hong Kong, Singapore, India and etc participated in the activity.
Fashion Display of China Domestic Glasses Designers, as a special display in WOF, showed optical insiders the most advanced and fashionable glasses and promoted the cooperation and communication of designers from all over the world.
On the aspect of service, WOF 2015 continued to provide 3-day free hotel to oversea visitors. Meanwhile, there were dining areas with Chinese and West food, VIP Lounge, Press Center, WECHAT Fans Club and etc to provide better service and make visitors in WOF at home.
With great attention and support from the industry, The 13th Wenzhou Int’l Optics Fair, China was perfectly ended. Next time, The 14th Wenzhou Int’l Optics Fair, China will open on 8-12 May, 2016, providing an effective platform for trade and information communication.
