TC CHARTON Made to Fit Eyewear’s entire Fall/Winter 2022 collection is made of lightweight stainless steel, a departure for the brand that has made a name for itself making multi-ethnic fitting frames in the highest quality acetates. The decision to focus on an all-metal collection comes from TC CHARTON founder/designer Alexandra Peng’s continued devotion to fit.

“There’s this myth that any metal frame can fit anybody. Oftentimes, people think they can just adjust the nose pads and pad arms, make a tweak here and there and poof, a perfect fit,” said Peng. “But doing that still compromises fit and comfort. So, for Fall/Winter 2022, I wanted to challenge the myth that all metal frames can fit anyone and show my own elevated versions with superior fit.

Setting the New Standard

Since its inception in 2009, TC CHARTON has released an extremely limited number of metal frames.

“Our metal styles like Kiana and Jennifer were a great success and some have been asking us for more. I wanted to let them know that I am listening, and what better way than to showcase an entire collection of metal frames, especially when metal is trending,” said Peng.

For Fall/Winter 2022, exquisitely crafted, extremely lightweight stainless-steel frames offer maximum comfort. Long pad arms allow for easy adjustments to fine-tune the fit. Cylinder hinges offer 180 degrees of durable flexibility, so they adhere to the wearer’s face shape without pinching.

While trends and styles have changed, what has remained the same is the attention to design and superior fit. Each piece of TC CHARTON eyewear addresses a combination of facial features that often make it difficult for people to find proper fitting eyewear.

Mixed Metals Allow for Subtle Shine

The three Fall/Winter 2022 styles come in three assorted colors and metal finishes that contrast beautifully together in understated elegance. Strong double color plating on the top of each frame adds subtle splashes of color.

For men, there is the Ron, a classically masculine, rectangular shape that combines both shiny and matte metals. Melisa contrasts satin and shiny finishes and the unisex Morgan has a playful shape, a matte top bar, and pastel shiny metals for that extra spark of individuality.
