Police Takes A Ride in Sony Pictures Bullet Train
A new exciting adventure is about to get underway: Police, the De Rigo group house brand, returns to the big screen in collaboration with Sony Pictures for the new Hollywood film ‘Bullet Train’, directed by David Leitch and inspired by Kōtarō Isaka’s best-selling novel of the same name.
Following on from the success of the latest film collaboration with Sony – ‘Men in Black: International’ – the lifestyle brand confirms its relationship with the cinematic world and forms a new winning partnership.
Releasing on August 5, 2022, worldwide, ‘Bullet Train’ is a zany and fun action thriller in which a group of assassins join forces, with related yet conflicting objectives, on board the same high-speed train traveling across Japan.
For the main character of Ladybug, played by Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt, Police has selected an iconic eyewear style that characterizes the protagonist’s look. A glossy black acetate prescription style sporting bold thicknesses, a decisive squared front piece, and temples embellished with the iconic Police eagle logo of ‘90s inspiration. The glasses, also available with a more slender rectangular front piece and in the sunglasses variant, also feature in the film’s trailer here.
Simultaneously with the release of the film, Police will be launching a global POLICE EYEWEAR X BULLET TRAIN communications campaign, comprising promotional video materials, digital activation, POS materials for opticians, and a landing page on the Police website intended for the end consumer.
