Orgreen’s IMAGINARY LINES Models Play With Minimalism For Summer 2022
Ørgreen’s IMAGINARY LINES range expands with seven additions that build on the collection’s expressive minimalism design ethos. Men get pared-back takes on timeless profiles in muted hues, including the sleek Polygon and Faster styles. Women are treated to a series of adventurous evolutions of classic shapes, like the oversized TV-screen style of Better and modernist cat’s eye, Shiba, styled in a selection of mat and polished titanium combinations.
The vintage panto shape of men’s style Ethereum has been given a modern makeover with Ørgreen’s 100% pure titanium and beta-titanium temples. The shape is faithful to the period, but the delicately sculpted titanium brings the shape right up to date. Reflecting this masterpiece of minimalism is a subdued color palette that includes pairings such as Mat Shitake Brown and Mat Pink Gold, along with single color takes such as Antique Sage.
The oversized navigator-inspired shape’s dimensions of Polygon are taken to the extreme, although the thin titanium and subtle mat color combinations make it an easy-to-wear statement frame. The Faster style treads a similar path to Polygon, but measurements have been compressed to create the signature Ørgreen low-slung look.
Women’s style Shiba shows Ørgreen’s playful side, with a fun and feminine blend of almond and cat’s eye shapes in generous dimensions. Colors are sophisticated, with earthy shades of Mat Blue Mist, Mat Chai Latte, and Mat Dark Shadow combined with polished temples. Silicon temple tips provide further splashes of color to an elegant and lightweight optical frame. Equally mischievous is the bold TV screen-inspired shape of Better. Its oversized square shape retains femininity through refined curvature and delicate shades of Mat Mint Blush, Mat Lemon Drop, and Mat Pink Tint.
The IMAGINARY LINES drop is rounded off with two graceful female shapes, Harder and Stronger. Harder’s geometric panto shape has a diamond-like profile in which retro and modern themes coexist harmoniously. Stronger is the first oval shape of the IMAGINARY LINES collection and it really makes a statement. With a color palette that includes the bright Mat Pink Tint and the sophisticated Antique Dark Brown, the volume of that statement is up to you.
BETTER

With its grandiose “tv-screen” rectangular shape, Better is a daring frame for women who wants to be bold—while maintaining refined femininity.
