Eschenbach Introduces its New Acunis FL-41 Filters
Eschenbach Optik of America, Inc. introduced its new Acunis FL-41 filters which are designed for patients with light sensitivity due to migraines, traumatic brain injury, and other eye conditions. Acute light sensitivity is common with migraines and other eye diseases and can aggravate their symptoms.
In contrast to conventional sunglass lenses which attenuate all light wavelengths evenly, the Acunis FL-41 lenses reduce the transmission of select light wavelengths responsible for glare, thereby providing a more comfortable viewing experience for patients.
Eschenbach has three Acunis FL-41 lens tints available including Light (25% light absorption), Medium (50% light absorption), and Dark (75% light absorption), all in optical quality lenses. Each tint is available in a choice of 4 Acunis frames, two stainless steel frames and two acetate frames, each one with slightly different features, size and style to meet the varied needs of your patients.
