The Dolomite mountains are a uniquely fascinating area of pristine natural beauty. With their majestic scenery, they are the perfect destination for unforgettable vacations and romantic getaways, as well as a source of great inspiration.

MIC – Made in Cadore eyewear is a product of this singularly stunning backdrop ‒ a tribute to Nature and to their land of origin. Classic shapes occasionally reinterpreted, colors drawn from Nature, like the green of trees and moss, earthy browns, the icy white of snowy peaks, and coppery Havana hues found in rocks and Fall foliage. These elements determine the lines and color choices used in the frames, alongside a signature metal element on the hinge profile that echoes the silhouette of the mountain peaks.

The collection of women’s optical and sun frames is a play in contrasts between square and round shapes, with names that lead back to Nature.

Valanga is a round acetate style with a distinctive semi-transparent marbled effect. Black blends with burnt brown (or with white, turquoise or beige) adding chic, offbeat allure to the wearer’s outfit.

Scintilla’s acetate frame features a knurled metal insert across the top rim that adds a special sparkle to its irregular hexagonal shape. From the more traditional black or Havana hues to the bolder, eye-catching contrasts of white, black, beige, brown, and green, it frames the face with a touch of glamour.

Another interpretation of the hexagon is found in Gemma, in polished metal with luster-lending milled ‘scratch-work’ on the front. Versions in silver, gold and red make this a true fashion accessory.

The clearly ‘80s-inspired Alba, instead, features chiseled workmanship. It comes in three versions: silver front and temples with blue temple tips; black front and temple tips with metal temples; and gold front with black temples and temple tips. The inspired interplay of colors calls to mind the blue of area lakes and shades of gold and silver in the valleys.

Fiamma sunglasses make vintage the name of the game with large squared lines worthy of a diva from La Dolce Vita. The interplay of black, Havana, and brown gradations emphasizes the style inspiration of bygone days, as if in a return to the cradle of eyewear that had its origins right here in the Cadore region.

MIC-Made in Cadore is not just an Immagine98 brand, but also an ambitious project by a company with strong ties to the region; its mission is to showcase the birthplace of eyewear through a narrative that unfolds in the styles in this collection.
