Anna Sui Spring/Summer 2026 Collection

Anna Sui unveiled her Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “Desert Blooms”,
at the Hotel Chelsea. Inspired by a creative colony which became a mecca for colliding cultures and creativity, the Mabel Dodge Luhan ranch house in Taos, provided refuge for artists like D.H. Lawrence from the constraints of society and freedom for an alternative lifestyle. Other artists such as Georgia O’Keefe, Ansel Adams, Martha Graham, and Millicent Rodgers gathered in this community in the early half of the 1900s. Dennis Hopper purchased the ranch in the 1970s and, with his Easy Rider fame and his new wife, Michelle Phillips from the Mammas and the Papas, began a new creative colony for film and art. The Hotel Chelsea has long had a similar legend of attracting musicians, artists, and writers to the city’s creative sanctuary.

Soft prairie silhouettes in Ombre Sunset Stripes, Rosebuds, Calico Jersey, and Desert Bloom prints set the tone—sweet but sun-faded. Mesh layers of t-shirt, wrap skirt, wide-leg pants, and scarf in a bold Sedona Sunburst. A Terracotta Stripe pinafore and matching skirt ground the look in earthy warmth, while the Ombre Sunset dress is thrown together with the Sedona Sunburst chunky sweater. Delicate Lingerie-knit cardigans and camisoles, Ombré Space-dye Crochet pieces, and Hand-Crocheted shawls all mixed together for a Romantic Grunge look.

The Lavender Mariposa eyelet dress adds femininity, grounded by the relaxed structure of Mesa Stripe cotton pants and a Lavender Plaid apron—a nod to prairie utility with an indie twist. That same Lavender Plaid returns in a babydoll dress, this time thrown over studded jeans, a playful clash of sweetness and edge. Pueblo Deco Print Jacquard is offered in a kimono and pajama pants. A Night Blooming printed chiffon dress is trimmed with delicate lace and flowers. The Lace ruffle bikini set peaks out under a delicate Lady Chatterley Lace kaftan and is paired with the playful brocade Alligator Bag. The Serape knit hoodie is thrown over the Wanderlust Ombré slip dress. Meanwhile, the Embroidered Morning Glory lace-trimmed peasant top is perfectly paired with a fringe Serape Knit skirt, echoing both romantic folklore and bold free spirit style. Each piece is steeped in shades of indigo, evoking denim blues, blooming florals, and the deepening skies of a desert twilight.
Anna Sui Eyewear introduces the Desert Blooms sunglasses in SS26 Runway collection, blending desert twilight and sophistication in an iconic butterfly shape. This season’s designs include two standout styles: one in delicate pastel hues embellished with intricate shells and stars, and another in striking gradient tones adorned with dazzling strass, butterfly-inspired shapes, and temples. These unique pieces capture the essence of desert-inspired beauty, offering a whimsical yet modern accessory.
