Weightless by Deadwood x Vasuma

Swedish fashion brand Deadwood and eyewear specialist Vasuma join forces in a new collaboration: Weightless by Deadwood x Vasuma. The collection features two rimless sunglasses models with a minimalist, nearly weightless design, crafted from recycled Swedish surgical steel. Released as a limited edition, only 50 pieces are available per colorway.


Weightless by Deadwood x Vasuma is rooted in a shared ambition to challenge conventions and push boundaries. Handcrafted in Italy, the sunglasses pay tribute to Swedish craftsmanship and innovation, and are offered with Grey and Pink gradient lenses.


“Deadwood was founded in Stockholm based on a pretty simple idea: to give old materials new life. Together with Vasuma, we’ve managed to challenge ourselves even further, towards something nearly weightless. The frames are made from recycled steel, yet they feel so light you forget you’re wearing them. The collection includes the Colletti Sun and Macrelaps Sun models, available in Gun Metal with Grey and Pink gradient lenses. This exclusive edition will be sold through SAMPLAS in Seoul, ASSEMBLY New York, select opticians, and via Deadwood’s and Vasuma’s own stores and online shops.

About Deadwood


Deadwood was founded in 2012 by Carl Ollson and Felix von Bahder who met working in a jeans shop together in Stockholm. Soon, they would begin dreaming of creating a store concept of their own, one that truly embodied their personalities and aesthetics.
