ABOUT THE DESIGNER:

Jeff Press is the President and Designer of PRESS eyewear, his namesake brand. Jeff began his career in eyewear with Robert Marc NYC in 1996 and became a licensed optician shortly after to complement his love of fashion. While training directly under Richard Morgenthal, Jeff became the Designer of Morgenthal Frederics in 2006 and added Robert Marc NYC to his portfolio in 2018 when named Chief Creative Officer for Luxury Optical Holdings.

As he continued to hone his talent over the years, Jeff touched nearly every aspect of the business and saw an opportunity to experiment with natural materials, eventually creating one of the largest and most successful collections of buffalo horn eyewear in the world.

Jeff’s innovative designs and techniques earned him membership to the CFDA in 2015 and made him a sought-after collaboration partner not only in the fashion space with designers including Rag & Bone, Oscar de la Renta, Monse, and Rosie Assoulin.

Jeff’s tenure has come together as PRESS, speaking to materials and creating a truly modern and unique American aesthetic of eyewear. His commitment to sustainability and exceptionally made eyewear is materialized in PRESS. Inspired by artists and his heroes, special moments, and eras of time, Jeff believes that inspiration is all around us. But it’s his attention to detail and meticulous approach that allows for materials and stories to be celebrated, while always keeping the wearer at heart to ensure the best possible experience, beginning to end.
