HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – August 18, 2026 — The Organizing Committee of the WOF ASEAN Int’l Optics Expo, in close collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Optical Association, successfully hosted the 2026 ASEAN  Int’l Optics Expo – Vietnam Promotional Conference today at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel.

The high-level conference brought together key optical leaders, association heads, and prominent enterprises from across China and Vietnam to explore new trade opportunities, enhance cross-border supply chain integration, and preview the upcoming 2026 ASEAN Int’l Optics Expo. 

Strengthening Regional Optical Partnerships

Distinguished guests in attendance included Dr. Thien, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Optical Association, Mr. Wu Jianmin , President of the Zhejiang Optical Association and CEO of Lidong Eyewear, and Mr. Tao Fangmin, president of Taizhou Optical Association and CEO of Yafeng Eyewear. Key executive representatives were also present, including Mr. Truong Minh Thanh (CEO of Hao Phat Group), Mr. Huang Chunhua (Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Eyewear Association and CEO of UC MY HOA Co.,LTD), Mr. Lee Jin (General Director of Chemilens) and Ms. Zhou Yiyi (Head of Optilink & Official Distributor for HYDRON / HORIEN Contact Lenses). 

The event was spearheaded by the WOF organizing committee delegation led by Mr. Su Mason (Show Director), Ms. Xu Veronica (Chief Operating Officer), Mr. Ji Benjamin (Visitor Center Director), Ms. Wang Samantha (Administrative Manager), and Ms. Li Amelie (Project Manager).

More than 20 Vietnamese companies also sent representatives to participate in the networking and product showcase.

Driving Vietnam-ASEAN Eyewear Trade & Product Showcase

During the conference, the WOF team presented an in-depth preview of the 2026 ASEAN Int’l Optics Expo alongside its exclusive Hosted International Visitors Program, designed to connect global suppliers with high-volume buyers across Southeast Asia.

A major highlight of the event was the dedicated product display area featuring latest collections from leading Chinese optical manufacturers, including premium frames, lenses, and innovative eyewear technologies. Local Vietnamese buyers and association delegates were given a guided tour of the showcase, allowing them to examine product craftsmanship firsthand.
