Selima Optique to Unveil Immersive Vintage Eyewear Museum at EYECON

Selima Optique will debut Le Petit Musée de Lunettes, an intimate vintage eyewear museum and retail experience, at EYECON, taking place Friday to Sunday, March 6–8, 2026, at The Glasshouse NYC.


Curated by designer and optician Selima Salaun, Le Petit Musée de Lunettes will showcase a selection of rare vintage eyewear collected over decades, including pieces from iconic maisons, independent designers, and fashion-history treasures. For the first time, a portion of Selima’s archival collection will also be available for purchase outside of her boutiques, giving attendees a chance to own a piece of eyewear history.


Alongside the archive, Selima will present pieces from her current Selima Optique collection as well as her most celebrated collaborations—including frames designed with legendary costume designer and creative director June Ambrose, fashion icon Iris Apfel, and other cultural figures.


Le Petit Musée de Lunettes is my personal love letter to eyewear,” said Selima Salaun. “Each frame carries a memory of a moment, a place, or a person who inspired me. Sharing them at EYECON feels like inviting the industry into the world that shaped my vision.”


Designed as a compact yet powerful fashion archive in motion, the museum will invite the industry to explore the evolution of style through eyewear—how silhouettes, materials, and cultural moments have shaped the way the world sees and is seen.

Le Petit Musée de Lunettes will be open throughout EYECON, offering retailers, buyers, designers, and media access to a rare, deeply personal archive and a one-of-a-kind retail experience.
