The first China Taizhou International Optics Fair (TOF for short), was successfully held at the China Taizhou Duqiao Glasses City from October 20th to 22nd.

TOF attracted approximately 11,300 buyers from around the world, representing roughly 32 countries and regions from major export markets including India, South Korea, Egypt, Japan, Singapore, and China Hong Kong. The fair served as a platform for global industry traders to converge and explore opportunities. The exhibits data showed 47% of the display products are glasses/frames/sunglasses, around 8% are packaging, with 20% materials/accessories, 15% optical equipment and 10% lens.

The China Taizhou International Optics Fair placed a special emphasis on the theme of sourcing directly from factories. This focus led to a series of factory tours and activities. This year, the organizer selected two top factories in Taizhou named Yingchang Group Co., Ltd. and TAIZHOU YAFENG GLASSES CO., LTD. Visitors had the chance to visit local eyewear factories, engaging directly with manufacturers and gaining a deeper understanding of the production chain.

With close to 75% of all attendees are decision-making person, the caliber of the show’s visitors remained extremely high which is a fact confirmed by exhibitors. According to the exhibition survey, the order situation of exhibitors remained constant, while the purchasing volume per visitor went up. Of the total 95% of visitors found the show important to their business while 75% of visitors found the show with high quality. “Manufacturers and buyers as well as partners and designers from all over the world come together to network at TOF, spawning new business relationships and collaborative opportunities," remarked Mr. Miaoshou SU, the show director, adding: “That’s what TOF all about - CREATE and CONNECT.”

The China Taizhou International Optics Fair not only served as a marketplace but also hosted various seminars and workshops, offering a forum for industry leaders to share their expertise and vision for the future of eyewear. These sessions provided valuable knowledge and fostered meaningful discussions among participants.

In conclusion, the 1st TOF was a resounding success, setting a high standard for future editions. It played a pivotal role in connecting global eyewear professionals and promoting innovation within the industry. We look forward to the continued growth and influence of China Taizhou International Optics Fair in the years to come.
