2026 ASEAN Int’l Optics Expo Kicked off in Bangkok

On October 9, the 2026 ASEAN Int’l Optics Expo (WOF|Bangkok) kicked off in Bangkok. Positioned as No.1 Optics Show in ASEAN, the fair connects with markets in the RCEP region and reaches out to markets in South Asia, the Middle East, and beyond, creating an international stage for display, exchange, and cooperation among global optical brands, companies, and professional buyers.

 

The fair is co-hosted by Donnor Exhibition and Broad Exhibition, with the Asian Optometric Management Academy (AOMA) serving as the international academic support partner. It is also supported by organizations including the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Singapore Eye Valley, the Korea Optical Industry-Cooperative (KOIC), the Optometry Association of Thailand, the Sri Lanka Optometric Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Optical Association, the Thai Opticians and Optometric Association (TOOA), and the Opticians Association (Thailand).

The opening ceremony also welcomed a number of distinguished guests from government, industry associations, and optical organizations. Some of the distinguished guests attending the opening ceremony included:

Global Reach, New Products

 

The fair brings together more than 200 brands from more than 10 countries and regions. Brands including SEROVA, PARZIN, OUTDO, MOHK, FANGSHI, YIFU, ATARA, WANJINBAO, MILU, REDELUX, HONGCHEN, HORIEN, CONANT, D-PLUS, FOREVER, FIVESTAR, and EASTCONSULT are presenting new products.

Exhibits include optical frames, sunglasses, lenses, packaging, smart eyewear, contact lenses, and optical instruments and equipment. The venue features both product series from established brands and newly launched specialty products, providing professional buyers with diverse sourcing options.

The fair features the Brand Zone, the Asian Original Designers Zone, and the Danyang (China) Zone, along with newly added special zones including the South Korean Zone, the Thailand Zone, the Smart Glasses Zone, and the Jiangxi (China) Zone. Each zone has its own characteristics, with Korean-style design, local brands, smart wearables, and regional industrial resources showcased together on site, enhancing visitors’ experience and sourcing opportunities

 

Buyer Power, Business Deals

 

On the first day, professional buyers from Thailand, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka were busy negotiating at the venue. Visitors came from more than 50 countries and regions. Among them were representatives from leading companies such as Top Charoen, Better Vision, KT Optical, Executive Optical, 101 Eyewear, AR Group, and Marvel Vision.

 

Professional buyers from multiple countries visited the venue to learn about products and conduct business negotiations with exhibitors. Purchasing demand from different markets has made WOF|Bangkok a key window into product trends and distribution channel changes in ASEAN and surrounding markets.

Industry Insights, Live Highlights

 

In addition to brand displays and business negotiations, several concurrent events were held at the venue.

 

The 2026 WOF|Bangkok Excellence Awards Ceremony presented awards to outstanding optical brands; the 2026 WOF|Bangkok Fashion Show combined new products with fashion runway presentations, providing exhibiting brands with a more visually engaging way to showcase their products; the WOF Buyer-Supplier Meeting hosted targeted negotiations on procurement needs; and the WOF Talks featured professional sessions on topics including optical retail, myopia prevention and control, visual behavior, and personalized lens design, adding industry perspectives and professional content to the fair.

In addition, the ASEAN Eyewear Brand Exchange Meeting and the South Asia Eyewear Trade Exchange Meeting will be held on the second day of the fair, focusing on the ASEAN and South Asian markets respectively, inviting brands, buyers, and industry professionals to discuss market trends and cooperation opportunities.

 

The first day of the fair wrapped up successfully , with brand displays, professional procurement, business negotiations, and industry exchanges all taking place simultaneously. Highlights will continue over the next two days. WOF|Bangkok invites global optical brands, companies, and professional buyers to join this journey.
