AC/DC was formed in November of 1973. The original lineup consisted of Dave Evans, Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Larry Van Kriedt, and Colin Burgess.  The band’s current lineup features Angus Young, Cliff Williams, Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd, and Stevie Young.

To commemorate one of the longest-standing rock acts Vinylize releases a limited edition 8-piece collection of eyewear dedicated to one the most hard rock bands ever.

The Vinylize collection includes 8 unique models dedicated to the founding members and the current members. The temple tips are modeled after Angus Young’s iconic Gibson SG. It includes 6 inlaid stainless steel “tuners” as well as a fretboard on the inside. The inside of the temple features the barbed wire pattern from the cover of their 1975 of High Voltage album. The outside of the temples features inlaid metal 3D AC/DC lighting bolts. The massive bridge bump increases comfort and shows the grooves. The frame front material is Vinylize’s trademarked acetate and vinyl combination. The game-changing grooves are just as easily recognizable as the first few riffs of any AC/DC track are.

Each official Vinylize/AC/DC frame includes a custom case, cleaning cloth, pouch, certificate of authenticity, AC/DC box, and custom vinyl care card. All frames are available as optical as well.

The history of Vinylize goes back to the early 2000s when Zack Tipton performed his first experiments with different plastics. After finding his father’s long-forgotten collection of records in the garage, the brand was born.
