Andy Wolf collaborates again with KNWLS to launch three ‘GLIMMER’ sunglasses for KNWLS return to the catwalk for their Summer 2023. The KNWLS x Andy Wolf ‘GLIMMER’ sunglasses recall the brand’s first collaboration ‘ADRENALINE,’ with angled facets and a bold curved lens with large dip temples. This time with a more compact, custom triple-layer glittery acetate. Finished with layered facets on the front and the back of the frames give a softness to the compact angled frame.

The sunglasses come in three colorways with a milky front layer of acetate, hiding a layer of glitter that only emerges through the facets. The colors include a transparent brown glitter with brown solid lenses, a milky lilac glitter with grey gradient + lilac mirror lens, and lastly a milky honey glitter with mid-grey solid + pink mirrored lens.

About KNWLS

London-based label KNWLS – rebranded and renamed from Charlotte Knowles in 2021 – was first founded in 2017 by Charlotte Knowles and partner Alexandre Arsenault, having met while studying at Central Saint Martins. Finding initial inspiration in underwear and corsetry, KNWLS has expanded to encompass an empowered but disruptive vision of femininity, dangerous and sensual. A tough, utilitarian sensibility – where pieces can feel like armour – challenges the modern feminine wardrobe.

KNWLS first showed on schedule at London Fashion Week in 2018 as part of a talent incubator Fashion East. Drawing attention for their slick, body-conscious separates which played with concealment and exposure, Knowles and Arsenault’s clothing has since been held by some of the world’s biggest stockists, including SSENSE, where they have worked with the Canadian e-retailer on several exclusive collections.

Based in south London, Knowles, and Arsenault work alongside a close-knit group of collaborators, among them stylist Georgia Pendlebury, art director Ben Kelway, and image-makers Arnaud Lajeunie and Harley Weir.
