Francesco Rinaldi Ceroni has been appointed President of Safilo’s Global Sports Division, leveraging his expertise and knowledge of the sport segment, as well as his commitment to innovation and sustainability. Under his leadership Safilo aims to exploit Safilo’s strong portfolio of outdoor brands and capabilities across international markets, contributing to the Group’s medium-term ambition of a strong and sizeable sport channel which is expected to account for around 12% of its sales1 by 2027.

Vittorio Verdun joins Safilo as the new President of the North American market. Verdun is a senior global executive with over thirty years of experience including 13 years in the eyewear sector as a leader of cross-functional international teams in North America, working on business development and strategy for all channels.

Jason Dopheide has been appointed VP of Sales for Design Eyewear Group Inc. where he will be responsible for the company’s sales activities in North America reporting to the Group CEO in Denmark. Jason joins the Group with a strong industry experience from among others Marcolin, and most recently almost 7 years as a National Sales Director, USA at Morel.

Frank Allen, PMP, a chemical engineer who spent two decades working across the country in the food & beverage and pharmaceutical industry, has been named vice president of operations for Southern California biotech Ocular Science. Allen will focus on the operational expansion of Ocular Science and OSRX, an affiliated ophthalmic compounding pharmacy based in Missoula, MT.
