The organizing committee of 12th Wenzhou Int’l Optics Fair (12th WOF for short) paid a visit to Ruian Glasses Chamber of Commerce on 22nd October, 2013 and the upcoming 12th WOF was discussed in Ruian, the Hometown of Glasses. Authorities including Kela Xia, president of Zhejiang Optometric & Optical Association, Jimmy Wu, president of Wenzhou Glasses Chamber of Commerce, Kongli Fang, president of Ruian Glasses Chamber of Commerce, Wei Pan, chairman of Zhejiang Donnor Exhibition Co., Ltd, Haizhou Xu, general secretary of Wenzhou Glasses Chamber of Commerce, and Miaoshou Su, project manager of WOF, got involved in this discussion.

Regarding 12th WOF, President Fang approved that the rescheduling of the fair from July to May met the needs of Ruian glasses enterprises. Moreover, he spoke highly of the new theme of 12th WOF ‘the Rise of Brands’, which was proposed in the base of 11th WOF ‘the Power of Industry’. He estimated that this theme might improve this fair’s standard and be capable to attracting more visitors and buyers. Afterwards, he declared that Ruian Glasses Chamber of Commerce would fully support 12th WOF and a Ruian Pavilion would be set in 12th WOF.

It should be also noted that the Second Ruian Glasses Summit, namely the Third China (Wenzhou) Optical industry Forum, will be held as one of concurrent events of 12th WOF. Definitely, it will be a gathering of Wenzhou businessmen in eyewear sector stimulating communication among eyewear retailers, wholesalers and enterprisers.

The visit to Ruian boosts confidence of Wenzhou glasses’ future. It is for sure that Ruian glasses will add extraordinary colors to 12th WOF.
